  • REDEFINE "The Core"

Led by Studio Founder, Melissa Enfield Johnson .

Who knows how to “engage their core” - really?

In this workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of "the core" - which muscles and structures are involved in its stability and movement, and what their most important jobs are. They will also learn useful exercises to help clients redefine how the core works in relationship to their own activities, and efficient cuing and feedback for instructors utilizing language, hands, and props. Participants will leave feeling confident in their ability to assess and teach efficient core action, and will never say "engage your core" again without understanding what that really means.

Appropriate for Movement Instructors and Students.
